Stand Mixer Decor
My cousin gifted me a Kuppet Stand Mixer for Christmas last year because she knew I was struggling doing things the old-fashioned way…by hand. I would literally hand mix things that I was baking or cooking and my arms were tired!
Once I got it I hardly used it because the holiday season was coming to an end and there was only a need for the mixer every now and then. Wellllll here comes COVID-19 and lots of free time! When I started experimenting with cooking recipes that I found online I also got the great idea to bake a few things.
Now my poor mixer has a part time job because I use it for about 75% of my cooking and baking projects. From cookies to pizza, brownies to biscuits, it has definitely earned its rightful place in my kitchen.
The KUPPET 4.7 QT food mixer comes with a wire whip, dough hook, and flat beater to use in an easy to clean stainless steel mixing bowl. It has 8 speeds from slow stir to a fast mix.
*Tip: Don’t be like me and place your attachments in the dishwasher. You’ll end up replacing them like I had to do with my dough hook. Please hand wash them. In fact, I learned that most pots, pans and bakeware are to be hand washed and not placed in the dishwasher.
Because I’m “extra” at times I tend to do “extra” things! One thing in particular is my stand mixer. I’m a HUGE fan of the Disney movie “Ratatouille” so when I found this decal I had to have it!
I purchased the SVG file, cut it with my Cricut machine and applied it to my mixer. Since the SVG file was designed for another type of mixer I had to cut the design into a few pieces so that I could apply them where I wanted.
The vinyl chosen for the project was Teckwrap. Their holographic vinyl is the best on the market (in my opinion) because it adheres to surfaces very well and is easy to peel. However, it is a more expensive vinyl but definitely worth it!
