Addressing Envelopes With A Cricut Machine

Tis’ the Season for addressing holiday cards, gift cards, and more! Because I typically send out holiday cards to previous brides and my Friendors (vendor friends with who I work within the industry). Since my address list can be a sum of about 40-50 people, I’m always looking for an easy and cost-effective way to send them out.

I found out that my Cricut Air 2 could draw when I took a class on how to use the machine from JOANN Fabric last year. As time went on I never really played around with the pen nor drawing feature until I stumbled across this video on addressing envelopes.

I ended up making my envelope outline square in Design Space a 7.25 x 5.25 to work off of before I deleted it. The actual measurements of my return address that was printed on the envelope are 1.992 x .567.

The drawing font I used was “Everyday Fonts - A is for Alice”. This is a Cricut font that can be accessed inside of design space.

Using the 12x24 Cricut mat allowed me to print up to 4 envelopes at a time. This way I didn’t have to keep loading my mat several times.

I’m VERY happy with how they turned out and will definitely use this method again in the future. It sure beats having finger cramps and spending most of the day writing the same address over and over again. Happy holidays!
